DO NOT BE CAUGHT OUT!

Booking Kraamzorg demands that you also cancel your registration on time also…

Did you know that when you register for Kraamzorg support, you enter into an agreement with the kraamzorg or the kraamzorg organization?

There would be times that you will contact several kraamzorg especially self employed ones, and based on the response back one comes back to you quicker than the other. That is normal, it can happen.

When that happens, make sure you had not registered for Kraamzorg support with the kraamzorg or organization and then decided on another, without letting the person you also registered with, that you have chosen another

More simplified? ONLY register with a kraamzorg you definitely know and conclude you will stick by. WHY you ask? Because when you register on the system for Kraamzorg with an organization or person, according to article 7 or the care agreement, you enter into a contract with each other. The Kraamzorg (self employed) cannot take another client with your due date and your spot is confirmed and safe in their agendas.

Failing to do so.. warrants you being fined €150,00 for cancellation fee and your insurance will also be billed for your kraamzorg subscription - inschrijving

There’s two sides to the coin, right? The kraamzorg has a duty of care when she has entered into an agreement with you, to find back up and arrange for someone else to step in to support you when she is no longer able to, for whatever reasons. Many times births clash and one cannot be in x4 different places at the same time for example, then back up is warranted because babies come when they come! Sometimes it is for emergency reasons (we are human! It happens!)

The clients on the other side; has the responsibility to respond to timely contact so that the process of intakes and so on can take place in good time before you go into labour. Your responsibility is also to let the ‘other Kraamzorg’ you have chosen another or are going with another in good time so that they can then cancel your registration on their system.

It costs Kraamzorg a lot of administration costs and time, to look for back ups, message back and forth for replacements to make sure you are supported in place of them. So finding out after all that has happened.. and for a client to say ‘ another one responded also, and I went with that one’ but didn’t let one know so they could cancel you from their system warrants a cancellation fees invoice

Be wise, choose wisely. Be on top of your administration and be honest. Granted with the situation that is currently with kraamzorg, you may need to check with a few to find someone. Just remember to ONLY register when you are sure. If you move countries and you had registered, please also cancel your registrations
